After taking a break in 2013, Kaori Muraji gradually resumed her activities, and on April 27, 2016, she performed at the "Association for Aid and Relief Japan 3.11 Charity Concert" held at Kioi Hall in Tokyo in the presence of the Emperor and Empress. Charity Concert for 3.11 Disaster Victims" at Kioi Hall, Tokyo, in the presence of His Imperial Majesty the Emperor. This album was planned as a result of this concert, and includes all the pieces performed by Kaori Muraji on that day, as well as a solo guitar version of "Hana wa sakuaku (The Flowers Are Blooming). Bagamoyo" and "Memories of the Island" are original songs that Kaori Muraji wrote on her own guitar based on her impressions of the places she has visited. Also included are "Koyumbaba," a guitar masterpiece that recalls her longing to visit Istanbul, "Hana wa Saku," which expresses her feelings for Fukushima, a place she often visits, and "Rhapsody Japan," a guitar duo medley of beautiful lyric songs from her roots in Japan. In "Rhapsody Japan," his younger brother Kanekazu Muraji serves as his duo partner, as in the concert, and the two musicians play in a well-matched ensemble.In addition, two original songs inspired by American poet Grossholz's "Kodomo no Jikan" (Children's Time) are also included for the first time. This album is a new frontier for Kaori Muraji, who has been reconsidering her own music by overlapping her "hometown" as a performer with her "stage and album" and her "hometown" as a native.
