Genki Arima's 1st major album "Shukumei" is finally released from Warner Music Japan (digital distribution)! The four lead songs on the album, "Failure", "Longing for You", "Shut Up" and "Wagama", were arranged, mixed and mastered by Hideyuki Suzuki, who has arranged songs for many major artists including Johnny's, Halo Pro, YUI, Ayaka, Ieiri Reo and many more. Genki Arima, who has been actively performing on the road and at live houses with a capacity of around 500 since he started his music career in 2012, will finally move to Tokyo in January 2023. The songs "Failure" and "I've been chasing after my longing", which are the two lead songs on the album, were created in the wake of his move to Tokyo, and Genki Arima's beliefs and aspirations are packed into the lyrics and sound of these songs. Genki Arima himself wrote the lyrics and composed the music, as well as wrote the script and directed the shooting of the music video. Genki Arima, a "super-creative singer-songwriter," is second to none in the passion he puts into this album.The recording team includes Motoki Inohara (Gt.), Ryosuke Ryosuke (ex-Co Shu Nie, now Marcy Support), and Chenhiro Morishita (ex-Saucy Dog), who have worked together on some of the songs since their indie days. The sound of the album is full of the individuality of the supporting members.
