I wanted to be something "special" in this city. I got a job at "J.D. Salinger's" publishing agency! A page of my life opens up in New York City, where I jumped in pursuit of my dream. Everyone can't help but sympathize! A "self-discovery" movie for adults! The main character, who wants to be "someone", opens a page in his life in New York to live his own story. The film portrays a woman wavering between ideals and reality in a corner of the city with freshness and humor. It is like a literary version of "The Devil Wears Prada"! The tag team of Hollywood's promising new star and a famous actor is also something to keep an eye on. The main character, Joanna, is played by Margaret Queally, who was outstanding in her role as "Pussycat" in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. Joanna's boss, Margaret, is played by Sigourney Weaver, who has starred in numerous blockbusters including "Avatar" and "Alien. The film is based on the "untold true story" of Salinger's publishing agency. Based on Joanna Rakoff's autobiography "My Days with Salinger," a memorable account of her days at the birthplace of the book. The film depicts the "untold true story" of Salinger's veteran agent and his rookie assistant, and the countless "fan letters" to the enigmatic recluse writer vividly embellish the story.
