Prohaska and the Lauten Company ask the power of Bach's music in times of trouble: "Can music heal people in these difficult times? ---In the midst of the world's Corona disaster, Anna Prohaska, Wolfgang Kachner, and the Lauten Company set out to create an album, "Salvation," with the aim of creating music that would give people healing and strength at a time like this. The original title of the album is "Salvation". The original title is a Christian term meaning that Jesus paid the price for people's sins by dying..., which implies that the time when they were forced to refrain from activities due to the Corona Vortex was the "price" that allowed them to produce this religious music album. The songs are mainly arias from Bach's cantatas, with themes such as people's anxiety and Christ's self-sacrifice, and ending with the song of salvation, "The days of suffering the Lord has turned to joy". In addition to Prohaska's solo soprano voice, the choral pieces are sung by four singers, one per part, with the participation of an alto, tenor, and bass, and some works are arranged and recorded for instrumental music only.
