The first new release in five years from Bill Wells' Japan-only "Dream" series, each title of which has been a long seller, consists of four movements, including spring, the final chapter of "Four Seasons. Since the early 2000s, he has performed with his eponymous trio/octet/big band, The National Jazz Trio of Scotland featuring multiple vocalists, and other leaders such as Maher Shalal Hash Baz, Yo La Tengo, Teenage Fanclub, Tenniscoats, The Pastels, Judd Fair, Diafouf, Aidan Moffat (Arabic Strap), Isabelle Moffat, and Isabelle Moffat. Isabel Campbell (formerly of Belle and Sebastian), To Rococo Rot, and many others, he has created a unique and lyrical sound world that does not fit into any genre such as post-classical, jazz, or pop. Bill Wells is a composer, arranger, and multi-instrumentalist based in Glasgow. The "Dream" series is a Japan-only release project by Bill Wells. The "Dreams of the Four Seasons" series consists of 12 diverse pieces, each about a minute long, that were released in the order of "Summer," "Autumn," and "Winter" between 2014 and 2019, and each title has recorded long sales.Collected Dreams", the first album in five years, is a special album compiling all four chapters (12 songs each) of "Four Seasons": "Spring" (Part 1 &2), the last chapter of "Four Seasons", "2022" and "2023", which were produced after "Spring", as the title suggests. All performances are by Wells himself, a multi-instrumentalist, with singing by two singers who participated in the previous three albums, Avi and Audrey. All four chapters are composed of amazingly colorful songs in flowing and skillful sequences, totaling 48 songs and 48 minutes. *The artwork is by Namio Kudo, known for his work with Fuyuri Kudo & Reiko Kudo (Maher Shalal Hash Baz) as in the previous "Dream" series.
