British heavy metal band Tailgunner makes its album debut! Vocals are by Craig Cairns, son of Kai Hansen, who also sings in Tim Hansen's Induction. The album was mixed/mastered by Olof Wikstrand of Enforcer. The new star of the heavy metal world is here! Tailgunner is a British heavy metal band. In the summer of 2006, bassist Tom Hewson had a thought: "I've had this band in my head since I was a kid. I want to start a band that I've had in my head since I was a kid. I want to start the ultimate heavy metal band with no compromises. He put up flyers in local music stores and bars, and began a steady search for band members. The result was Tailgunner. Tailgunner made their album debut. The album is titled "Guns for Hire. The band recorded the album in the middle of the night by candlelight in an old 19th century church surrounded by graveyards, which is exciting in itself.Tom describes Tailgunner's style as "heavy metal inspired by Halloween, Iron Maiden, Megadeth, King Diamond, and Judas Priest," and indeed, their sound is 100% pure metal. Singer Craig Cairns is also the vocalist for Induction, led by Tim Hansen, son of Kai Hansen. The mixing/mastering was done by Olof Wikstrand of Enforcer, so you could say that this is heavy metal in every sense of the word. This is truly a new star in the metal world!
