Fallujah is a technical death metal band from California. The band's formation dates back to 2007. In their early days, they pursued a deathcore-like sound, but in 2011, they released their debut album "The Harvest Wombs" on Unique Leader Records, the main label of Burdes, and gained a great deal of popularity. After the release of their second album, "The Flesh Prevails," the band signed with German label Nuclear Blast, and with their third album, "Dreamless" (2004), they broke new ground by mixing post-rock and electronica with death metal. The band's fourth album, "Undying Light," was released in 2007, despite the departure of the vocalist who had been the face of the band. It showed that the band was still going strong.Fallujah will release their first new album in three years. The band has always had many member changes, and this time, half of the members have been replaced from the previous album, namely the vocalist and bassist. The new bassist is Evan Brewer, formerly of The Faceless, and the vocalist is Kyle Shaffer of Archaeologist. The title of this album, produced with a fresh start, is "Empyrean. The album was recorded in the studio for 6 months with Mark Lewis as the producer. The album features a more technical, brutal, and atmospheric version of Fallujah, which is now even more powerful. The melody shines through in the raging beat, and this is Fallujah's world. If you like technical death metal, brutal death metal, or progressive death metal, this is a must-listen album!
