The second album from the famous Greek band led by Vangelis! This is the second album by Aphrodite's Child, a Greek psychedelic and progressive rock band led by Vangelis, who later achieved international success as a synthesizer player on the soundtrack of the movie "Runner of Fire". It was recorded at Trident Studios in London. The title track, with a solemn organ sound reminiscent of Procol Harum's "Blue Shadow," was a single hit in Europe. The other songs on the album are diverse, ranging from gospel and swamp rock, which was the trend at the time, to country, classical ballads, and tribal funky rock, all of which can be enjoyed as a single album.Their next album, "666," a two-disc epic, had a huge impact on later progressive rock bands, and this compact work is one that should not be missed.
