The only work by Harumi, a mysterious Japanese living in the U.S., in 1968! Harumi" was produced by the genius Tom Wilson and released on Verve Records in 1968. Harumi, or Harumi Andoh, was a young Japanese guitarist living in the U.S. His details are unknown, and the album has long been a cult classic among collectors and connoisseurs. The album is a perfect fusion of Eastern and Western musical elements, with unique vocals and poetic lyrics (English lyrics) reminiscent of GS. All lyrics are composed by Harumi. Based on a psychedelic-folk-rock sound that moves between introspection and openness to the outside world, the soft rock/pop feel with strings and vibes is a true kaleidoscope of sound.The final number (M-13), which lasts about 20 minutes, is a must-hear track that has gained attention in the Mondo boom since then.
