Recorder "play" on Telemann's Canon Sonata This program features Telemann's Canon Sonata (6 pieces in total), a superb sound play, and various ensemble pieces for the recorder - from Ruffo (16th century) to Yu Kuwahara (contemporary) - interwoven across the boundaries of genres and eras. The intimate duo of Tanaka and Blagetti is joined by the tones of Takahashi, Ujigawa, and Asai, resulting in a gorgeous "game" of diverse sounds on the recorder. <Seiko Tanaka After graduating from Ueno Gakuen University, Tanaka studied at the Conservatory of Amsterdam. After graduating from Ueno Gakuen University, she went on to study at the Conservatory of Amsterdam, where she graduated with a diploma as a professor and performer. She has been actively performing in Europe and Japan since her study abroad. He has taught at the Ueno Gakuen University, Conservatorio di Varese, and Conservatorio di Milano. Currently, he is the director of "Studio Fontegara" in Milan and Tokyo, where he teaches and performs. He is the author of "Tangling the Recorder" (Entre). He has invited more than 50 recorder players to participate in his unique concert series such as "J. B. Ruhe: 48 Sonatas" and "J. van Eyck: "Paradise of Flutes" (144 pieces)". . Born in Genoa, Italy. He studied under Nina Stern at the Conservatorio di Milano. After graduating from the Conservatory, he studied with K. Buquet in Italy. She then moved to the Netherlands to study with M. Missen and J. van Wijngaarden at the Amsterdam Conservatory of Music, from which she graduated with a Bachelor of Music degree. In 2008 and 2010, he was invited by the Catholic University of Santiago, Chile, as a master class professor. He is currently a professor of recorder at the Conservatoire Superieur de Musique de Genève in Switzerland and at the Conservatorio di Milano in Italy. In addition to recorder, he teaches chamber music and Renaissance and Baroque ornamentation. For more than 30 years, Tanaka and Bragetti have been active in duo and teaching activities, and have also started the "La Libertina" recorder ensemble, calling on leading recorder players to expand the possibilities of recorder ensemble playing through a professional ensemble, which is rare in Japan.In addition, the recorder orchestra "Sonatori del Fontego," which will celebrate its 17th year in 2025, continues its activities to share how to make the recorder resonate with as many lovers as possible. In 2018, he will be joined by world-renowned recorder players K. Bucke and W. van Hauwe. In 2018, he formed "Olive Consort" with world-renowned recorder players K. Bucke and W. van Hauwe, and released two CDs on Bucke's Olive Music label in Italy, including "Gesti antichi e moderni per flauti dolci" (New and Old Style of Recorder Manners), which received five stars in the French Diapason magazine gave it a five star rating.
