In 2018, the popular romance adventure game series "Memories Off" reached its 8th (20th anniversary in 2019) and was supposed to be the last in the series, but in 2020, "Shinsu Memories Off", set in the modern era, will be released due to the support of passionate fans in Japan and abroad. This title is a collection of theme songs that includes the game's OP, ED theme song, and insert songs. The opening theme song "Hikari to Kage no Laplace" sung by Asaki Hana was composed by Chiyomaru Shikura, who also wrote the theme song for the series. It includes the insert song "Long for you" sung by Mika Okamoto, who plays the role of Yuriko Oyama, an idol from Sumisora, and the ending theme song "Hoshizora Music Box" sung by Ayane, who also wrote the lyrics, and its karaoke. The jacket is newly drawn by U35 (Umiko), a character designer for "Shinsu Memories" and an active manga artist and illustrator. The limited first pressing includes a can badge of a character illustrated by U35 (Chihaya Hojo ver. Mie Satomi ver. Yuriko Oyama ver. 3 characters ver. 1 out of total 4 kinds at random).
