Electric Ladyland", a masterpiece of The Jimi Hendrix Experience, released in 1968 and number one on the U.S. album charts, is celebrating its 50th anniversary and will be released in Japan as a 4-disc "Electric Ladyland 50th Anniversary Edition" that includes 3 CDs and a Blu-ray disc. CD-Disc 1 contains the original "Electric Ladyland" album, remastered by Bernie Grundman, and CD-Disc 2 contains the original "Electric Ladyland" album, remastered by Bernie Grundman. CD-Disc 2 contains 20 previously unreleased demos and alternate takes. CD-Disc 3 contains 12 previously unreleased live performances at the Hollywood Bowl on September 14, 1968. Blu-ray] includes the documentary "At Last. .The Beginning: The Making of Electric Ladyland" and the original albums [Uncompressed LPCM Stereo 24bit/96k], [Uncompressed LPCM 5.1 Surround 24bit/96k], [DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 Surround 24-bit/96k] will be recorded.The above four discs will be housed in a lavish artwork with an accompanying 48-page booklet.
