The latest studio album from folk-blues singer Eric Bibb, who has consistently released quality albums and was nominated for a Grammy for his last album "Rydin"! His nostalgic vocals, acoustic guitar, and highly accomplished original songs are a must-hear. Eric says that this album is a milestone in his 50 years of music and collaboration with producer Glenn Scott. Robbie McIntosh's (Pretenders, Paul McCartney, etc.) slide guitar is also superb! Eric Bibb was born in 1951 in New York. His father was Leon Bibb, who was active in the folk scene in the 1960s, and his uncle was John Lewis of MJQ. He moved to Sweden and independently released "Ain't It Grand" in 1972 and "Rainbow People" in 1977, returned to New York in 1980, and returned to Sweden five years later. In 1997, he released "Shakin' a Tailfeather" with the esteemed Taj Mahal and others, which was nominated for a Grammy Award and made his name known worldwide.Recent releases include "Jericho Road" with Lucy Foster in 2013, "Blues People" in 2014, "Red Bellies Gold" with J.J. Mirtu in 2015, and "Happiest Man in the World" under the name North Country Fur in 2016. Constant releases; 2017's "My Gration Blues" was nominated for Best Traditional Blues Album; 2023's latest, "Rydin'," was again nominated for a Grammy.
