Greg Lake, a famous vocalist and bassist, who worked with KING CRIMSON/ELP and other famous progressive rock bands and passed away in 2004, passed away while working energetically as a solo artist in his later years. Discs 1 and 2 are two solo albums, "GREG LAKE" (1981) and "MANOEUVRES" (1983), both released on the Chrysalis label in the UK at the time, and Discs 3 and 4 are official bootlegs that chronicle Greg's musical activities, including his time in the band. Disc 3/4 features two works from the official bootleg series "FROM THE UNDERGROUND", which chronicles Greg's musical activities including his time in the band, Disc 5 features "SONGS OF A LIFETIME", a live album released in '13 that includes footage from his solo tour, and Disc 6 features the '17 album from Manticore, Italy: "SONGS OF A LIFETIME". Disc 6 contains "LIVE IN PIACENZA", a live recording of the Piacenza, Italy concert in November '12, released on Manticore in '17, and Disc 7 contains "LIVE FROM MANTICORE HALL", a live recording of the North American tour in '10 under the name of duo with Keith Emerson. Each recording features the latest remastering by Andy Pearce.The 68-page booklet includes liner notes by Jerry Ewing, editor of Prog Magazine, and previously unpublished rare photos of Greg.
