A miracle produced by Deodato! The first album by Joseph "Joe" Knowlton and William "Bing" Bingham, aka Joe & Bing, is now available on CD in its original jacket. The original self-produced album, with a simple illustration hand-drawn by a female friend, was pressed in a run of 1500 copies to be sold by hand at live shows, without an official release source yet being determined. Along with the Brazilian version, the original version is a mega rarity. The two vocal harmonies are perfectly matched, and the band features Ken Asher (keyboards) and Joe Beck (electric guitar), who are well-known for their work on Paul Simon's albums, as well as drums/percussion, Grady Tate, Don McDonald, and the Brazilian band from the early 60's. The band's original sound is also featured on the album, with the original sound of the band's original sound. Don Umm Romao, who has been one of Deodato's arms since the early 60's in Brazil, and others participate on drums/percussion.Under the direction of Deodato, the band is perfectly supported by top-notch session players from the New York area. A masterpiece of soft rock with a high quality saudade feel. Includes 8 bonus tracks.
