Christina Prommer is a Munich-based drummer, DJ, and producer who has participated in the Truby Trio and Fauna Flash projects on the prestigious German club jazz label Compost. She has released an album "Drumlesson vol.1" (one-take recording!), which features jazz covers of classic techno, electronica and house club classics such as "Strings Of Life" by Derrick May, Larry Hard's "Can You Feel It", and Nuyorican Soul's "Nervous Track". The album was an instant hit, making an impact around the world.Two years later, the second and final part of the project, "Drumlesson: ZWEI," has been released on K7! This album features a selection of classic tracks from Detroit techno pioneer Carl Craig, Aril Brikha, Laurent Garnier, Kruder & Dorfmeister, and others who have produced sounds directly related to Detroit techno from Stockholm, Sweden. In addition, the album also includes the UR masterpiece "Jaguar" by Aztek Mystic of DJ Roland, the ultimate Balearic classic "Sueno Latino" by E2-E4 remade by Manuel Gottsching, and "Strings Of Life" by Derrick May from the previous album, which shook the world. The album also includes two big bombs comparable to Derrick May's "Strings Of Life" on the previous album, which shook the world.
