Inu-style guitarist Seitaro Mine has completed his second solo album "Bochi Bochi," his first in four years. The album is a fusion of beats, rhythms and sounds from all over the world, including Afrika, Caribbean, reggae/dub, blues, rock, jazz, psychedelic, new age, ambient, hip-hop and club music (....). The fusion of "various beats/rhythms/sounds from all over the world" opens up new horizons in guitar instrumental music. A masterpiece is born. The Tchiky's, a rock band with Yohei Miyake, Shoji Ishiguro, and Kazunari Kakinuma, a group that develops a dense approach to African music, Chinza DOPENESS & DOPING BAND, a hip-hop band that embodies the evolution of hip-hop, and the duo Acoustics & Soul with Jin Yama. The guitarist Seitaro Mine has demonstrated his wide-ranging and deep musicality with his superb performance and expressive power in projects that transcend genres. Seitaro Mine, who has been taking a variety of approaches to music, draws on sounds and rhythms from Africa, reggae/dub, the Caribbean, Hawaii, and other parts of the world, as well as psychedelic, experimental, and ambient elements, to create a sound world that could be called world music for a new era. The seven tracks are centered on expressive and varied guitar playing, interspersed with rhythm boxes, effects, electronic sounds/SE, field recordings, etc., and include thrilling sessions with musicians with whom the band has close ties. This album is sure to stimulate music lovers who prefer the likes of Khruangbin and Tommy Guerrero. < Music Introduction The album begins with "Prologue," a dubby, Afro-Caribbean tropical vibe and mood, followed by "Ah Yeah," a psychedelic highlife(?!) Afrikan reggae/dub track by Akoya Afrobeat Ensemble drummer Yoshio "Tony" Kobayashi. A/NAOITO and Dedication, and the keyboardist Bocchi, who also plays with Jimi Tenor, is featured on the track "Get Yeah," which is a combination of Afrobeat, jazz, blues, Sun Ra-esque space world, and Lee Perry-esque dub sensibilities. The "Getogether" is a world of Afrobeat, Jazz, Blues, Sun Ra-esque cosmic world~Lee Perry-esque dub sense, which is synchronized with Jimi Tenor, and the "Giarabi Erect" is a dancehall-esque "rumbling bad" and "fat" groove line, Afrobeat, desert~exotic blues, which is synchronized with Jimi Tenor. The "Giarabi Erectronico" is an exotic Hawaiian sound beckoning you out into a sea of awesome guitar sounds/collage on "Byouki Hawaii", and "Tambo Samba" is a fusion of Michael Hedges-esque new age and Frans Bebey-esque psychedelic afro.
