Although he was well known as a hard rock guitarist, it was his first blues album, "Still Got the Blues," released in 1990, which sold over 3 million copies worldwide, that made his name known to a wider audience. This 2-CD set, "The Collection Series," is a definitive collection of his greatest hits and timeless masterpieces that showcases the essence of his guitar playing.The 28 songs on the album include a live version of "Parisienne Walkways," one of his best-known songs and one that drew attention when used in figure skating, "Run To Your Mama" from "Dirty Fingers," which was first released in Japan in 1983, "Nuclear Attack," "Dancin'," from "G-FORCE," a project he started in LA after leaving Thin Lizzy, and a blues song from 2001.
