Complex, three-dimensional structures are spatially and artistically arranged. Two works by Nunes, who studied with Boulez and Stockhausen while building his own writing styleEmanuel Nunes is a Portuguese composer who studied with Boulez and Stockhausen. The finely written notes are intricately intertwined, but the overall sound is broad, spatial, and very three-dimensional. The tone quality is beautiful, and while the influence of his teacher's music can be heard, you can also enjoy the high degree of perfection of his calligraphy, which is his own medicine cage.
