Highly recommended for music fans interested in birds and animals. Composers Compete with Birds Birds have been singing since long before mankind began music. While humans create perfect music that is calculated and thought out, birds spontaneously come up with strange compositions. Composers have attempted to describe natural phenomena and certain noises, and birdsong has been musicalized all over the world, each showing its own ingenuity. We can enjoy the depictions of birds by Renaissance and Baroque composers as well as modern techniques by Saint-Saens, Ravel, Britten, and others. Vincent Bouchot's "Carnival of the Endangered Species," a work inspired by Saint-Saens, is also a must-see. The piece depicts unfamiliar animals in the style of a classical suite and closes with "Mankind," which is also very meaningful and makes one think about many things. The booklet is beautifully illustrated in full color with detailed descriptions of the various birds and animals, making it a must-have. La Rêveuse, founded in 2004 by Florance Bolton and Banjaman Perrault, is an antiquarian music group that focuses on works from the 17th to the 8th century, but also combines music and current events in its thematic works, which have become a hot topic.
