Organ fans rejoice. Harmonium Nundi launches the World Organ Series! The first installment is a historical organ from Sicily, played by the genius keyboardist Arnaud de Pasqual! Performed by the genius keyboardist Arnaud de Pasqual! Harmoniumundi released "Historic Organs of Europe" more than half a century ago. It is known as one of the label's best-known recordings, but the "World Organ" series, a major project surpassing that series, is now underway! The first commemorative release is from Sicily. In Sicily, Italy, historical organs built between the 16th and 18th centuries still exist and have preserved their sound. This album is a collection of six historical organs from five churches, and its contents allow you to fully enjoy their sounds. Each of the pipe organs has a completely different character, and you can hear the tangible legacy of their sound. The performance is by the genius keyboardist Arnaud de Pasqual. Speaking of Harmonie Mundi, Banjaman Allard is currently recording the complete works for keyboard by J.S. Bach, and this "Organ of the World" is another remarkable start to the series. The booklet (French, English, and Italian) includes photographs of each organ, as well as details such as the organ's stop chart, pitch, and year of restoration.The contents are also of high documentary value.
