Description:

Orgy Of The Damned" is the first album in 14 years under the full solo name of Slash, one of the greatest guitar heroes of all time. This is his sixth album as a solo artist, including his recent work with Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators, and is a cover album (with one original song) that goes back to his roots and features classic blues and soul songs that he adores. The album is a collection of covers (one of which is an original) that return to Slash's roots, featuring his beloved blues and soul classics. From the painstaking rock 'n' roll that bursts with Slash's verses to the deep, tearful blues, you can enjoy Slash's most intuitive and pure guitar playing, and like his first solo album "Slash" in 2014, the guest list is superb. The first single from the album, "Killing Floor," features Brian Johnson (AC/DC) on vocals, Steven Tyler (Aerosmith) on harmonica, and Slash on guitar, a dream collaboration that is sure to excite all rock fans.In the music video for this song, a blues band led by Slash makes its first public appearance, playing in the recording studio with Johnny Griparik (b), Teddy Andreadis (key), Michael Jerome (dr), and Tash Neal (vo/g). Here is what Slash and Brian Johnson had to say about the song Killing Floor" is one of my favorite Howlin' Wolf songs, and it has one of those iconic blues riffs that I was obsessed with as a young guitar player. I've always wanted to cover it in some form, and this album was the perfect vehicle. But to play it with this band, and to have Brian Johnson sing it, was an accomplishment I never imagined at the time. Slash: "When Slash asked me if I would sing on "Killing Floor," I said yes. It was one of the first songs I learned in my first band. When he played me the backing track, I didn't even have to think about it.And Steven's harmonica is so hot, too. It was fun working with Slash in the studio, and I think we did a great job of capturing the best of these great songs of yesteryear. Brian Johnson (AC/DC), Chris Robinson (The Black Crowes), Billy Gibbons (ZZ Top), Iggy Pop, Paul Rodgers, Chris Stapleton, Gary Clark Jr. Clarke Jr. and many other unique and talented artists contribute greatly to this album. This is a superb rock album that breathes new life into the classic songs of yesteryear in Slash's inimitable style.
