Scouting For Girls is a UK indie-pop band formed in London in 2005 by three childhood friends. Their debut single "She's So Lovely" was a smash hit in 2007, and their debut album "Scouting For Girls" was released in September of the same year, reaching #1 on the UK album chart. The band's second album, "Everybody", followed in September of the same year. From their second album "Everybody Wants To Be On TV", they released a series of hit songs including the singles "This Ain't a Love Song" and "Famous", and "Summer In The City" from their third album "The Light Between Us". They also performed in Japan in 2008.About the upcoming release of "The Place We Used to Meet," the band's seventh studio album in four years, the band says, "We looked back at our previous work and rediscovered why we make music and why we are a band. The songwriting and recording process has been amazing, and this is our most confident album ever, with personal and emotional songs that we never had before. We are very excited for everyone to hear it! says a member of the band.
