Midnight Oil's new album "RESIST" is a new album by Midnight Oil, one of Australia's leading rock bands. Since their formation in 1972, Midnight Oil has gained a huge following in their home country of Australia and around the world for their socially conscious lyrics and gritty rock sound that addresses racial and environmental issues. The band broke up in 2002, but announced a reunion in 2016 and resumed a world tour in 2017. A live album of the tour, "Armistice Day: Live At The Domain, Sydney," was released, and in 2020, the band released a mini-album, "The Makarrata In 2020, they released "The Makarrata Project," a mini-album about collaboration with indigenous Australians, which included their first new songs in 17 years. This time, they will release their 15th studio album, "RESIST".Like the previous album, the album was produced by the British producer Warne Livesay, who produced the band's biggest hit album "DIESEL&DUST" in 1987, and it is a rock sound with a lot of grit and depth.
