US doom/metal band = SPIRIT ADRIFT, a rising star in the metal world, has further grown with their 4th album "Enlightened In Eternity", ranked as the best US metal band of the last 10 years by Kerrang Magazine. Their second album "Curse Of Conception" (2017) and third album "Divided by Darkness" (2019) were named best albums of the year by Decibel Magazine, and they are highly acclaimed in the metal scene and have a promising future in the metal world. In 2015, multi-instrumentalist Nate began SPIRIT ADRIFT as a studio project that encompassed his diverse love for metal. Two years later, in 2017, Marcus joined the band on drums, and the band began playing live and immediately gained attention. That year's release of Curse Of Conception is a monumental work that gave the band a great deal of confidence in their songwriting and production (reissued by Century Media Records in April 2020).And now, following the release of "Divided by Darkness," which further updated the quality of their sound, "Enlightened In Eternity" is the follow-up to "Divided by Darkness," which, while based on doom metal, retains the band's signature classic metal forms, gorgeous The band's signature classic metal forms, gorgeous guitar leads, melodies, harmonies, and brain-grabbing riffs are still intact, but with a modern sound that is stunning. This album is a palpable result of the six months of training that took place prior to its production. Following the majestic "Ride Into The Light" (1), "Astral Levitation" (2), with its clever songwriting and moving development, "Harmony Of The Spheres" (5), which bursts into a powerful riff with breakthrough power, and the 10-minute-plus The album has enough to live up to the high expectations of the listeners, from the breakthrough riffs of (5) "Harmony Of The Spheres" and (10) "Reunited In The Void" to the over 10-minute epic "Reunited". Unfortunately, Chase Mason (Bass) and Eric Wagner (Guitars) have announced their departure to concentrate on GATECREEPER, leaving SPIRIT ADRIFT to continue as a two-piece band.
