Dizzy Miz Lizzy's fourth new album in four years, "Alter Echo" (Alter Echo) Dizzy Miz Lizzy will release her first album in four years, "Alter Echo. Alter Echo," the fourth album in total, takes an approach not seen in Dizzy Miz Lizzy's previous works. In a nutshell, the worldview is a fusion of 1970s progressive rock and modern post-metal, and with the exception of one song, "California Rain" (California Rain), the first single released in 2019 and the fifth track on the album, all the songs are connected. The highlight of the album is the epic suite "Amelia" (Amelia), the sixth through tenth tracks of which are all one piece. Frontman Tim Christensen (Vo/G) describes this song, the highlight of the album, as follows "'Amelia' just naturally turned into one long song like this. It just seemed to make sense and we couldn't have it any other way.If there are no rules about what an album should be, and if the situation allows the songs themselves to be left to develop as they want to develop, then it's fine for one song to last 23 minutes." Alter Echo was created with the premise of an analog record in mind, with ten tracks totaling 46 minutes, with both the A and B sides clocking in at approximately 23 minutes.
