Daughtry is a monster rock band that has sold over 8 million albums worldwide. The band was formed in 2006 by Chris Daughtry, a semi-finalist on the popular audition show "American Idol. The band's first album, "Daughtry," released in 2006, debuted with two No. 1 hits on the U.S. album charts, a new first-week sales record for a new rock band, No. 1 sales in the U.S. in 2007, and four Grammy Award nominations in 2008. In 2009, the band released their second album, "Leave This Town," and it was their second consecutive No. 1 album on the U.S. charts. In 2016, they released the first best album of their career, "It's Not Over... The Hits So Far" was released.
