Classical music icon Kyung-Wha Chung resumes exclusive contract with Warner Classics! 45 years after his first album, the first work under the new contract is the complete unaccompanied sonatas and partitas of Bach! The first album under the new contract is a set of Bach's six solo violin sonatas and partitas, a milestone of violin music that the artist himself has always worked on and dreamed of recording someday in his long career. Following the first studio recording in 15 years, a recital album with pianist Kevin Kenner as a partner and a concerto recording are planned for the future. After a long hiatus, I am very pleased to announce my return to the recording studio for an exciting series of recordings. The first of these is the monumental J.S. Bach Solo Sonatas & Partitas. It is the object of my never-ending quest in my musical journey. It is wonderful to have the opportunity to work again with Stephen Johns (who was my producer for an extended period of time during my contract with EMI) and I feel very welcome as a member of the Warner family.Warner Music Japan
