Genevieve Stokes is a young singer-songwriter who vividly portrays her emotions. Her debut EP "SWIMMING LESSONS", whose universal songs created by her fresh sensibility resonate across generations, will be released on CD following its distribution! A 19-year-old with fiery hair. Genevieve Stokes is a soulful alternative singer/songwriter from Portland, OR, who is currently attracting media attention for her personal novel-like lyrics and fresh sensibility. Her debut EP, "SWIMMING LESSONS," which was previously released for streaming, is now also available on CD.Genevieve taught herself to play the piano after hijacking her older sister's piano when she was 8 years old.Throughout her teenage years, she was influenced by female artists such as Cat Power and Regina Spektor, while making music based on her own experiences and perspectives, and actively participating in open mic nights (a kind of jump-in performance night).
