Solo Debut Album by Korea's Superstar ViolinistKim Beom-Sori, a 31-year-old violinist born in Korea, is a superstar in her own country. Violin on Stage" is her solo debut album of exquisite masterpieces from opera and ballet. Also noteworthy are three unique repertoire pieces newly arranged by Michaud Lotto. The recording was made last December at the National Music Forum in Wroclaw with the NFM Wroclaw Philharmonic Orchestra and music director Giancarlo Guerrero. The album clearly shows that Bomsori feels a close connection to Poland, its music, and its musicians. Bomsori has won numerous international competitions, including ARD Munich, Elisabeth, Sibelius, Tchaikovsky, and Wieniawski. And he was awarded the Young Artist Award by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Korea in 2018 and the Young Artist Award by the Korean Music Association in 2019. Universal Music/IMS
