The first Decca Gold album by American organist Cameron Carpenter, described by the New York Times as a "tremendous talent," features J.S. Bach's "Goltberg Variations" and his own arrangement of American composer Howard Hanson's Symphony No. 2, "Romantic". Symphony No. 2 "Romantic" by American composer Howard Hanson. Both pieces are performed on an American digital concert organ of his own design. With his extraordinary musicianship, truly boundless technical skills, and pioneering spirit, astonishing organist Cameron Carpenter has already left his mark on recent music history. In 2014, Carpenter completed his own instrument (a mobile digital organ) called the ITO (International Touring Organ) and has since installed it on some of the world's most prestigious stages, despite initial skepticism about the digital instrument. He now performs almost exclusively with the ITO.In addition to many performances in Europe and the U.S., he has taken the instrument on tours in Australia, New Zealand, Russia, and Asia.
