Juan Diego Flores, born in Peru in 1973, has been acclaimed by the New York Times as "a dashing tenor, the king of bel canto opera. It has already been 20 years since he made his debut at the Rossini Festival in Pesaro in 1996, where he showed off his outstanding technique and taut, beautiful voice. This album traces his 15-year career from 2001 to 2014. Three arias from Lalo's "The King of the Isles," "Ave Maria," and "Amapola" are new recordings. Although her voice has gradually deepened over the years, her beauty has not changed at all since her debut, and her unparalleled high range has not diminished at all. Still an outstanding lyricist and tenor, he is also active in philanthropic activities and has been awarded "The Gran Cruz de la Orden del Sol del Peru," Peru's highest national honor, and his activities are attracting more and more attention.
