In 1990, the band debuted on an indie label with the album "39/Smooth" and garnered much attention as an up-and-coming American punk band. The album won a Grammy Award for "Best Alternative Music Album. Since then, the band has been at the forefront of the American punk rock scene, and will be making their first visit to Japan in March with their new album. This live album is a recording of Green Day's performance on the third day of the Woodstock Festival 1994, right after their major label debut! The performance was broadcast live across the U.S. via MTV, and the audio masters recorded at that time have been remastered for this release. The setlist consisted of 9 songs, and this live album contains the complete setlist.The performance consists of 7 songs from their major label debut album "Dookie" and 2 songs from their indie days, and their live characteristic wild and straight rock sound is in full bloom!
