In September, the band released a metallic silver analog commemorating the 25th anniversary of their 1998 masterpiece "DIZZY UP THE GIRL", and now they are back with a new release.The Goo Goo Dolls released an album "A BOY NAMED GOO" in 1995, and this album captures the band's performance at the CMJ Music Marathon in New York City on November 21, 1995. In 1995, the Goo Goo Dolls, a three-piece band that was rapidly gaining popularity, traveled to New York City for the CMJ Music Marathon. The Goo Goo Dolls visited New York City for the CMJ Music Marathon. On the eve of their November 21 show, which was their biggest show in New York at the time, they performed a stripped-down soundcheck performance for Tom Calderone's radio station "Dare to be Different" 92.7 FM. That soundcheck performance and their performance at the CMJ Music Marathon were recorded and mixed by legendary producer Jerry Finn, who has worked with Blink 182 and Offspring. This performance at the radio station was their first live recording, but it was also the first time they performed acoustically in front of an audience. Both the soundcheck performance and the electrifying live performance at the Academy captured a special moment in the blossoming career of the Goo Goo Dolls, which is about to unfold before their very eyes.
