LYNC was active in the US Olympia since 1992, and released their only album "These Are Not Fall Colors" on K Records in 1994, which is a masterpiece in the history of US indie music. The album includes a cover of "Cue Cards" by JULIA & THE SQUEEZETTES, a band formed by the members of SUICIDE SQUEEZE. The original song by LYNC is also included on this 7" single! The original version of LYNC's song is a killer arrangement that sums up the band's attitude. The intense yet delicate approach of early emo and indie rock colliding head-on has not yet faded away! On the other hand, the cover version by JULIA & THE SQUEEZETTES, a group of members from COATHANGERS, DEATH VALLEY GIRLS, and PARANOYDS, has a lightness and softness similar to SONIC YOUTH, but the madness lurking deep inside comes to the forefront in the arrangement.The fluffy passion that seems to grab you but doesn't is addictive! There is an episode that LYNC's activities inspired him to establish SUICIDE SQUEEZE, so much so that he must cry over this project that is overflowing with love and respect!
