Austrian-Hungarian Haydn Philharmonic

Description:

The Haydn Philharmonic was founded in 1987 during the Cold War by members of the Vienna Philharmonic and Hungarian National Philharmonic under the leadership of conductor Adam Fischer. The Haydn Orchestra was founded in 1987 during the Cold War by members of the Vienna Philharmonic and the Hungarian National Philharmonic under the direction of Adam Fischer, who believed that "by bringing together the best musicians from both Austria and Hungary to perform Haydn's works together, we can overcome musical borders. Currently, Nicola Altstedt is the artistic director after Adam Fischer, and from 2022, in addition to Altstedt, Enrico Onofri, the genius of the Italian Baroque world, will be the artistic partner. Adam Fischer's "Haydn Recording Series" with the Haydn Philharmonic will start anew with Enrico Onofri as conductor. The Haydn brothers (Joseph and his brother Michael) recorded their symphonies and their overtures. Michael Haydn (1737-1806) was the younger brother of Franz Joseph Haydn (1732-1809). He spent most of his life as a court musician in Salzburg and was close to Mozart. His 39th symphony recorded here is also said to have influenced Mozart's "Jupiter. Meanwhile, Joseph Haydn's Symphony No. 96, "Miracle," is a piece from the London Symphony (Zalomon set). At the invitation of Zalomon, a London showman and musician, Haydn visited England with great success. At that time, the civic class was rising in England, and music was no longer the exclusive art of a few aristocrats, but was widely welcomed by the civic class. Haydn, who had been a musician at the Esterházy court, became a very successful composer in London under the modern civil society. Here is a miraculous joint recording of these contrasting brothers, one of whom achieved success in the world and one of whom remained in his beloved land. King International
