Maria Zardoya, the Puerto Rican-born, Atlanta-raised leader of The Marias, has launched a new solo project, MELT, the first release from her solo project, which will be released under the name NOT FOR RADIO.Recorded in January 2025 at FLYING RECORDINGS in Upstate New York with producer Sam Evian and producer/instrumentalist Luca Buccellati, the album was spun as the real-time work of three people who detached themselves from the outside world and immersed themselves in music and nature.
