Blank Mass, a project by Benjamin John Power, one half of Fuck Buttons, a new generation electronic noise music group from Bristol, has released its second album on the popular Brooklyn, NY label Sacred Bones! The electronic duo Fuck Buttons, consisting of Andrew Hann and Benjamin John Power, who met at art school in Bristol, have released three albums since their debut in 2008. Their music was featured in the opening ceremony of the 2012 London Olympics, for which film director Danny Boyle served as general director and Underworld as musical director, The song "Sundowner" by Blank Mass was used for the opening ceremony, which made headlines.This album, "Dumb Fresh," was carefully produced by Benjamin a.k.a. Blank Mass over a period of one year, with the theme of the human body in the process of evolution. Reflecting the trial-and-error and long production period, the album is more varied and challenging than any of Benjamin's previous works. A must-have for all music fans who follow contemporary electronic music!
