Nate Smith, one of the best drummers of our time and a member of the Fearless Flyers, an offshoot of Wulfpeck, a band that is taking the world by storm, has completed his long-awaited new album! The album features Brittany Howard of the Alabama Shakes, Joel Ross, a vibraphonist who has also worked with the prestigious jazz label Blue Note, and Regina Carter, a leading figure in the jazz violin world. As a member of the Fearless Flyers, an alias project of Wulfpeck, Joel has participated in Wulfpeck's live performances at Madison Square Garden, and has also played in the touring bands and recordings of Jose James and Takuya Kuroda, among others. Nate Smith is also a talented composer and producer who co-wrote Michael Jackson's "Heaven Can Wait" with Michael himself, Teddy Riley, and others. Nate Smith's new album is a masterpiece that showcases his abilities, from sophisticated and beautiful jazz, to melodic soul numbers, to his signature crisp drumming.
