The album features Imai's signature lush, comfortable singing voice against the backdrop of a superb, authentic, and carefully crafted live sound. The arrangements, which are subtly infused with Imai's characteristic Latin and fusion tones, are also a treat to listen to. While avoiding the standard fare, the songs are well balanced in terms of popularity and geekiness, making AOR and city pop fans groan. The inclusion of a new song, "Eternal Promise," newly written by the artist himself, completes this collection that is more than just a covers album. Yuko Imai, who had released "Midnight Door ~Stay with Me~" (Miki Matsubara) before the city pop boom, has released her first cover album in her career.Jun Abe, a talented arranger who has collaborated with Toshio Kadomatsu for three consecutive albums, creates a fusion side and a Latin side for Yuko Imai, while Jun Kawanari, a unit consisting of Jun Kajiwara and Yoshihiro Tomonari, old acquaintances of the Toshio Kadomatsu family, creates a gentle, organic side for Yuko Imai.
