It also became the No. 1 most watched movie of all time on streaming services worldwide in 2023, and has been viewed for an astounding 1 billion hours on Disney Plus to date, and continues to be loved around the world. In the previous film, Moana saved her home island after an epic adventure. Three years have passed since then, and this film depicts Moana as she embarks on a new destiny.The theme song "How Far I'll Go," sung by Moana in the previous film, was nominated for the 89th Academy Awards(R) and the 74th Golden Globe Awards(R) for Best Song, and music is an essential part of this film. The music for this production is composed by two talented young musicians, Abigail Barlow and Emily Bair, who were the youngest winners of the 64th Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album in the same category. In the song "We're Back," Moana sings the lyrics "We're finally back, the real us," which was released earlier in the production, and it conveys the joy of adventure to a faraway sea that was once forbidden and the hope of meeting "friends" that awaits.
