Singer-songwriter Mariya Takeuchi's first new single in nearly four yearsMariya Takeuchi's new single "Kimi no iawasu (Have a Good Time Here)" is now available. This will be the first single release by Mariya Takeuchi since "Inochi no Uta (Special Edition)" released in January 2020, but the first original single since "Tabi no Tsukiroku" released in October 2019, making it her 45th single in total and her first in about 4 years. The title track, "Kimi no Ibasho (Have a Good Time Here)," was written for a major tie-up. It is a heartwarming number that gently envelopes and heals people in a way that is typical of Mariya Takeuchi. The coupling song is the main theme song for TV Asahi's "Yoko Oshita Wide! Scramble" on TV Asahi since April this year. Scramble" on TV Asahi since this April. This is the first time the song has been made into a soundtrack. Also included are "Sutekina Holiday," a standard number for this time of year, and "The Christmas Song," a cover of a Western song that was also included on the album "Quiet Life.Four original karaoke tracks are also included, for a total of eight tracks on this gorgeous disc.
