Two tracks from the advance digital single by “COSANOSTRAM/R”—a new project by Momoko Suzuki and Reiko Oda, the vocalists of COSANOSTRA, a group that epitomized the Shibuya-kei scene of the 1990s—are now available on vinyl for the first time! Includes a cover of a song by The Nolans. SWING-O of 45trio handled the composition, production, and all instrumentation. Side A features the original song “LoveYourLife,” with lyrics by Momoko Suzuki. The lyrics, inspired by Bob Marley’s famous quote, “Love the life you live. Live the life you love” (Love the life you live. Live the life you love)—a message that could be considered the ultimate goal in life—and is set to SWING-O’s light piano playing and sophisticated samba rhythms and melodies, resulting in a joyful track. Momoko Suzuki and Reiko Oda take turns singing and harmonize together, and the way their voices blend seamlessly throughout the song is truly delightful! The B-side features a cover of “I’m in the Mood for Dancing,” a signature song by The Nolans that became a global hit in 1979. Based on the concept of “what if we covered a classic ’70s song in the ’90s,” they’ve reimagined it into a sound where disco and acid jazz blend naturally. The well-synchronized twin vocals of Momoko Suzuki and Reiko Oda are another highlight. The natural interplay and harmonies—possible only because the two have worked together for so many years—add a warm charm to the track. The cover artwork was created by illustrator Naoki Hashiba, who drew inspiration from the song’s live debut performance.
