With strong backing, including piano by Constantini, a renowned bandoneon player, violin by the virtuoso Alexander Sitkovetsky, and the concerto conducted by Hengelbrock, the album features Piazzolla and works influenced by Piazzolla. In addition to the famous pieces "Libertango" and "Solitude," the program includes "Reverie," which was performed as an encore at the 2017 NHK Symphony Orchestra concert in which he appeared as a soloist.
