Hamao Fujiwara & Katsurako Mikami

Description:

The peak of maturity. Fujiwara Hamao and Mikami Keiko's excellent live performance! Performing with young and talented performers in Chausson's "Conserre"! Hamao Fujiwara, one of Japan's leading violinists, and Keiko Mikami, Fujiwara's wife and pianist. They have performed together for many years, and their performances are at the peak of their maturity. The latest disc of this highly anticipated concert is a recording of Schubert's "Rondo for Violin and Strings in A major, D.438," Prokofiev's "Violin Sonata No. 2 in D major, Op. 94bis," and Chausson's "Concerto for Violin, Piano and String Quartet in D major, Op. 94bis" from a concert on June 7, 2024, at the Hamarikyu Asahi Hall. This album includes live recording of "Concerto for Violin, Piano and String Quartet in D major, Op.21" by Chausson. Hamao Fujiwara's beautiful violin tone and Keiko Mikami's expressive piano shine more and more brightly in this album. The highlight of the program was Chausson's "Conserre. After its premiere in Brussels in 1892, it was described as "the most important and interesting work of any music of recent years," and the influence of the German Romanticism that was popular in France at the time and his devotion to Wagner led to the creation of Chausson's unique music. In this performance, we will hear the music of Tatsuki Narita. In this performance, young talented musicians representing Japan, Tatsuki Narita, Rihon Aida, Ayako Tahara, and Rentaro Tomioka, have gathered! This is a performance performed by the most extravagant members. This is a rare performance of a masterpiece by master musicians. Schubert's lively rhythms and rich harmonies. In Prokofiev, Fujiwara's sound line responded to Mikami's diverse tones with sometimes innocent sound and sometimes bewitching harmony. The highlight of the evening was Chausson. The quartet of four up-and-coming musicians played with their senior Fujiwara in a lively ensemble. The excitement of the night of the performance, which I listened to with great enthusiasm, comes back to me. SONARE
