The 43rd original album, which will be released two years after the last album "Sobon", is now on sale. The title of the work "CONTRALTO" is read as "contra alto". Miyuki Nakajima has stated that this title "refers to my range of sound. The album also includes the songs "Self-Portrait" and "If I Am Not Allowed to Sing," which gives the impression that she is writing and singing about herself from various perspectives. In addition to the two tie-in songs "Rigo no Uta" and "Evolutionary Tree," the theme songs for the TV drama "Yasuragi no Toki - Michi," written by Satoshi Kuramoto and produced to commemorate the 60th anniversary of TV Asahi, which was released as a single prior to the album, "Owa ni Hatsumono" and "Kannonbashi" are included on this album, as well as the new theme song for the same drama, "Yasuragi no Ki - Michi" which is a song about a woman who is in the middle of a journey to the end of her life, and "Kannonbashi" which is the song of the same drama. The song "Hatsumono" and "Kannonbashi" were also chosen as the new theme song for the drama. A total of four tie-in songs will be included in the album. Including the theme song of the previous episode, "Bijo," the album will feature five theme songs by Miyuki Nakashima, an unprecedented feat for the drama "Yasuragi no Toki: Michi" and its music can be fully enjoyed.
