Recorded for FM broadcast from their performance at the first "Lollapalooza" in 1991, which they themselves launched. Live performance to enjoy the progressive spirit of the pioneers of alternative rock! From heavy metal to alternative rock. Mixture (as in Japan) of musical styles such as the Red Hot Chili Peppers and grunge as represented by Nirvana were gaining attention as new trends in rock music, but Jane's Addiction emerged a step ahead of them. With a charismatic singer named Perry Farrell and a technical yet psychedelic guitarist named Dave Navarro (who later joined the band), the band had the openness and druggy chaos of a West Coast band, The band's lyrics were both mundane and suggestive, and the band clearly had a personality that had not existed in the scene before this one.They would break up (for the first time) just three years after their major debut, and Perry Farrell would launch "Lollapalooza," one of the most popular rock festivals of the 1990s, to coincide with their breakup. Touring the entire festival package was the hallmark of "Lollapalooza," and the first "Lollapalooza" started on July 18, 1991. Recorded here is the nineteenth performance, on August 16 at Lake Fairfax Park in Washington, D.C. Despite the fact that the band was coming to an end, with the relationship between the members at its worst, the performance is truly dense, with each part intertwining with the other, and is technical and of a high standard. It is time to rediscover this strange toxicity.
