To commemorate this occasion, five of the ACCENT label's masterpieces are being reissued on LP. The five titles on this release are released on LP using DMM cutting (Direct Metal Mastering), which eliminates the need for a lacquer disc process and directly engraves grooves on the mother disc, thus ensuring excellent sound quality. Sigiswald Kuijken was one of the first musicians to perform the cantatas in the OVPP format (one per voice).
