South African recorder player Stefan Temming and German soprano Dorothee Meels have made a name for themselves in the world of classical music with their exquisite cantatas, in which the soprano and recorder intertwine gorgeously, as if they were made for each other. The two have been working together for several years. The composer they are currently focusing on is Telemann, and this album was made with him in mind. Telemann is a very prolific composer, covering all kinds of compositions, and in the collection entitled "Harmonischer Gottesdienst" (Worship with Music), there is a charming cantata for soprano and obbligato recorder that seems to have been written just for the two of them. is available.
