GHOSTKID" is the second album from the band formed by former ESKIMO CALLBOY (now ELECTRIC CALLBOY) member Sebastian "Sushi" Biesler, who overcame the turmoil caused by the pandemic and rose from the ashes to become a band. GHOSTKID is a new band founded by Sebastian "SUSHI" Biesler, who left ESKIMO CALLBOY (now ELECTRIC CALLBOY) in February 2020, with his friends. Joakim (drums), a Swede, and the members of the sadly disbanded German metal band TO THE RATS AND WOLVES. The band was formed by Steve Joakim (drums) and the members of the sadly defunct German metal band TO THE RATS AND WOLVES. Especially Germans are afraid of pushing boundaries, of making art that makes someone think and feel," says SUSHI. With this album, the band has established a sound that goes beyond the confines of their native Germany, with an aggression, energy, and musical ambition that surpasses that of their debut album.Production was helmed by Sky van Hoff, who has worked with RAMMSTEIN and Till Lindemann on previous albums. From the trap metal-inspired beat and destructive metalcore riffs that open the album's title track "Hollywood Suicide" to the unsettling melody of the elegant closer "Helena Drive," this album, Hollywood Suicide" perfectly captures the artist's attempt to climb out of the personal frustration SUSHI was experiencing and find himself against the backdrop of California's collapsed and mythic environment. After the release of their debut album "GHOSTKID" (2020), which made a strong impact, SUSHI, like many other bands, had a difficult time with tour postponements and cancellations due to the pandemic, but in 2023 they participated in a completely sold-out EU/UK tour with BAD OMENS, which brought The band wowed the crowds.After years of inactivity and repression, the band is about to begin the reversal offensive in earnest with the release of "Hollywood Suicide"!
